Comic Timing Episode 219: June 2024 Previews

Not a hoax! Plenty of imaginary stories! And some based on real life, as is the nature of comic books, of course. Ian is joined by the one and only Adam Murdough, as well as Raph Soohoo, to do Previews as in-depth as we possible can. In fact, this one is so in-depth, it’s over three hours of content! A labor of love we hope to bring you once a month, as long as we are able to do so. We know a bunch of you were missing this, and so were we, and why disappoint anyone?

This week, the comic book community lost its greatest spokesman, and one of its most storied creators. Stanley Lieber, aka Stan “The Man” Lee, passed away earlier this week at the age of 95. This episode, Brent, Brandon, Ian and Raph wax poetic on his legacy, especially touching on what Stan meant to us, and to pop culture at large. We also go over some recent reads, because how else would you celebrate the man who made Marvel than to talk about some comics?

This episode is dedicated to the memory of Jeremy Dale, who passed away suddenly last week at the young age of 34. Jeremy not only was a friend of the show but a personal friend of mine.
