Comic Timing Episode 224 – SDCC News & Deadpool & Wolverine Movie Review

We’re back, and there’s TONS to discuss! Donovan, Jamal, Brent, Raph, Brandon and Kris join Ian to go through a whole bunch of San Diego Comic Con news, including the return of the DC Bullet logo, DC’s Absolute Comics line, Mark Waid and Dan Mora on Justice League Unlimited, Jeff Lemire on Justice Society, Ram V’s Fourth World, and of course, Marvel’s Hall H announcements for Fantastic Four: First Steps and the shaky cam footage we totally didn’t watch we swear, and the Doctor Doom Downey Jr. reveal. Then, we pivot to an in-depth and spoilery review of the long awaited third movie in the Deapool franchise, Deadpool & Wolverine (starts at 1:11:00). Finally, a discussion of Roy Thomas’ claim that his editorial assistance has earned him a creator credit on Wolverine. SNIKT, bub. Plus some Creature Commandos talk and THE WAR WHEEEEEEEL!

Here’s the video version for this one:

Episode 73 lives! It has been a very busy couple of weeks for me, as work combined with looking for apartments, laptop failures and other life stuff slowed me down. This time, Umar from Dafixer’s Hideout returns along with Sean Cummings of codename: POWER join Brent and I to chat about the year up until now. Like last year, we return with our end of the summer awards! Plus, we delve into Sean’s San Diego Comic-Con experience. Three hours of comic goodness, all for you! Comic Timing Syndication – Podcasting: One Year Later Panel

This is the Podcasting: One Year Later panel that was conducted on Thursday at the 2007 San Diego Comic-Con. On the panel were myself, John Mayo of Comic Book Page, John Towry of Comic Talk Cafe, Mr. Phil of Indie Spinner Rack, Josh from iFanboy, Scott Hinze of Fanboy Radio, and Jimmy Aquino of Comic News Insider. The panel was moderated by Vito Delsante, a freelance writer for DC Comics and manager of Jim Hanleys Universe in New York.

I boosted the volume of the recording as high as it could go without sounding too distorted, so I hope you are able to hear it all without trouble. The panel was plenty of fun, and I certainly want to thank my fellow panelists for the great time. Our wrap-up of San Diego Comic-Con will be released in another day or two, so keep your eyes and ears open.

Thanks for listening, thanks for downloading, and hope to talk to you folks soon!
